I’ve been busy on various wedding commissions for dear friends lately. I had never done that before and found it quite amusing, although hard work. This is a sketch for some pieces made for close friends who share a passion for folk dance and music. I was searching for the perfect colour combination, hence the contrasts. The final piece is a tryptic using watercolour and ink in which I worked on various elements of my friends life and passions; the colours are more vivid and the whole piece more abundant.
The thing when you have a full-time job and a full-time hobby is that you are busy pretty much all the time! So, off to some rest now.
