No doodle this week…Oh, but why?

Why no doodle this week?  (do I really have to justify myself, this is my blog after all!).  Well, I spent last weekend socializing (these things happen sometimes) and by the time I realised that I was about to fail to my own committment to load one doodle a week, I realised that I no longer had an internet connection.  Damn it!  I suddenly felt so old: had I been away from the net for that long?  My line is faulty I’m told and the engineer is coming tomorrow “sometime between 8am and 1pm”…oh, that’s really helpful, thank you very much.  Well, let’s hope he will not show up at 8am on the dot because that is highly likely to ruin my day.  Let’s say that 10.35am would be just perfect.  So, bear with me, maybe I’ll meet my deadline after all.
